Doctors of the World
Doctors of the World UK is part of the global Medicins du Monde network, which delivers over 300 projects in more than 70 countries through 3,000 volunteers. We aim to ensure vulnerable people affected by war, natural disasters, disease, hunger, poverty or exclusion get the healthcare they need, regardless of income or status. DOTW UK has started to set up links with universities across the country, and Southampton has been lucky enough to be included with the first cohort. Throughout the year we will run global health talks and events in order to raise money and awareness for the outstanding work being carried out by DOTW volunteers who deliver healthcare to vulnerable people, wherever they are.
